We are looking for a enthusiastic Service Technicians / Diesel Mechanics, who are excited to contribute to making the world more sustainable. Our client is the global leader in installation and foundation technology in both on and offshore markets, and are interested in speaking with people who are keen on working with electric/hydraulic equipment.
With over 350 employees world-wide, our client works on smart solutions within the Offshore Wind, Coastal & Civil, Decommissioning and Oil & Gas markets to make the world greener.
About the Role
As a Service Technician you will carry out work on client projects all over the world – such as foundation installations for offshore wind farms, through which thousands of homes will be supplied with green energy. You will spend regularly time offshore and will work in teams of 2 to 6 people per project. You will of course receive support from the office team, sometimes even through smart vision glasses!
The Service Technicians maintain, repair, commission and (digitally) operate our hydraulic equipment (hammers and handling tools). In case there is no offshore project to deliver, you’ll be working in one of the yards in Australia on a range of equipment.

Qualifications
Trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic
Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
Ability to fault find
A current driver’s license
Forklift, W, T, R and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
Basic Word and Excel abilities
Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
Excellent Spoken / Written English communication skills
Full driving license and happy to travel internationally for variable periods
You are also happy to acquire necessary vaccinations. We would appreciate a few years of work experience in a similar function, next to a completed diploma, preferably in or related to mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical engineering.
