Position Overview
This role provides high level services, including installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of dental equipment, both in-house and on-site, to internal and external customers
Position Objectives
Work as part of team to undertake technical service and support of the Company’s products
Positively influence customer satisfaction by providing timely and proficient technical service and advice, for internal and external customers
Positively influence the financial goals of the Company through cost and inventory control, accurate and timely invoicing, the promotion of the Company’s products and services
Specific Accountabilities
Technical
Installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of equipment sold and serviced by the Company.
Ensure all contact with internal or external customer is of a high standard, including a professional appearance, condition of the Company provided vehicle and standard of communication
Attend calls as scheduled by the Technical Service Support Coordinators
100% accuracy on use of parts for service work, measured by stock take variations
When parts are required team members are required to use part numbers in their communication
Complete on-line reports on the PDA system for all service and support activities after every call, signed by the customer
Monitor and measure performance to identify and rectify weaknesses in the system
Provide feedback to Service and Sales Managers on technical service issues
Customer Service
Promote the Company’s service offers to customers, including calling to inform customers of the benefits of, and scheduling preventative maintenance services
Care and Maintenance
Care and maintenance of all tools, parts, equipment supplied by the Company
Adherence to the Motor Vehicle Policy, in particular, service and maintaining a professional appearance
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Knowledge
Ensure ongoing currency of functional and technical knowledge via self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training and personal research
Ensure ongoing currency of systems and procedures via self-directed learning and proactive involvement in training as required
Teamwork
Work collaboratively with all members of the Technical Service and Maintenance team.
Provide technical advice and support to the sales team
Health and Safety
Ensure personal safety in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety policies and practices
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment

Experience and Qualifications
Trade qualification, Electrician or Electronics, Mechatronics
Minimum 2 years’ experience in field service
Knowledge of the dental or healthcare industry
Understanding of fault-finding procedures
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated experience working under pressure
Software and Information technology networking knowledge
Skills

Established rapport building and relationship management skills
Self-motivated and ability to self-manage
Demonstrated organisational ability
Physically fit to undertakes manual handling tasks
