The role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and strong performing HD Fitters to join our Orange workshop team.
As a Service Technician, you will be performing machine inspections, decommissioning reports, full machine rebuilds, component rebuilds, preventative maintenance, and repairs of a range of specialist mining equipment with OEM product training available to support you in the onboarding process.
Areas of responsibility
Maintain a safe work environment and encourage a strong safety culture.
Perform fault diagnosis, maintain, and repair mining equipment.
Maintain inspection test reports and documentation.
Support technicians from other regions and assist in training.
Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously.
Actively contribute to the organisation and efficiency of the workshop, ensuring quality is not diminished while achieving timeframes.
Your Profile
Essential
Mechanical background and relevant certification.
C Class Manual Driver Licence.
Proactive, self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.
Ability to think outside the box and find solutions.
Strong and proven safety culture.
Strong customer service focus and motivation to achieve targets and goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid computer literacy.
Desirable
Previous experience maintaining mobile mining equipment.
You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job & the ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
