The role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and strong performing HD Fitter to join our team based in Burnie.
As a Service Technician, you will be performing machine inspections, decommissioning reports, component rebuilds, preventative maintenance, and repairs of a range of specialist mining equipment with OEM product training available to support you in the onboarding process.
Areas of responsibility
Maintain a safe work environment and encourage a strong safety culture.
Perform fault diagnosis, maintain, and repair mining equipment.
Maintain inspection test reports and documentation.
Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously.
Actively contribute to the organisation and efficiency of the workshop, ensuring quality is not diminished while achieving timeframes.
Your Profile
Essential
Mechanical background and relevant certification
C Class Manual Driver Licence
Proactive, self-motivated and demonstrates initiative
Ability to think outside the box and find solutions
Strong and proven safety culture
Strong customer service focus and motivation to achieve targets and goals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid computer literacy
Desirable
Previous experience maintaining mobile mining equipment.
You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job & the ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
