Form of workRUC Mining currently has an opportunity for a Qualified Mechanical Trade Fitter to join our Tanami Shaft Project.
We pay for flights from any capital city in Australia
15/13 roster 15 Shifts on and 13 off (days and nights)
Great rates
- Complete machinery servicing and repair breakdowns.
- Tasks include but not limited to assembling, disassembling, modifications, and maintenance of transmissions, brakes, winders, sheaves, ropes, pneumatic rock drills and feed rails, parts ordering, and stock control.
- Repair hydraulic systems/pipes/hoses, low voltage electrical faults, bearing and sheave, pneumatic rock drills and feed rails, replace broken bolts.
- Servicing and maintenance of filters, changes oil.
- Attend to breakdowns of machinery.
- Complete all relevant safe check requirements
- Component change out of hydraulics.
- Testing and fault finding of light and heavy machines.
- Completion of service logs and daily/weekly run sheets.
- Operation of Integrated Tool carrier (I.T.)
- Tyre Changes
- Certificate III or higher in Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Technology
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence
- Able to provide National Police Clearance (within 6 months of commencement)
- Working Safely at Heights
- White Card
- Hold current Provide First Aid or ability to complete the course
- Pass a pre employment medical
