About the Team
Within the Corporate Services branch of TfNSW is the Transport Shared Services (TSS) responsible to provide business support to more than 26000 customers. Additionally, TSS services over 300,000 external customers ranging from Local Government representatives to citizens. Over the last year, TSS has implemented a strategy to lead the direction of the organisation towards workforce digitisation, emphasising customer experience and growing the business’s value proposition and services.
The opportunity
Right now, we have a Permanent opportunity for you to join the Payroll team. We are seeking someone with a strong customer focus, and experience in delivering high quality outcomes through innovation and improvement.
The role is responsible for delivering a high standard of payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll transactions in accordance with legislation, awards, policies and procedures. The role also responds to customer enquiries, administers associated records and runs regular reports.
We are seeking someone who can travel either Burwood or Newcastle on a regular basis.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have but are not limited to;
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in a customer-centric service delivery organisation such as a payroll centre, service centre or shared service provider.
Demonstrated ability to adapt, to learn and implement new processes and procedures as new technology, service requirements and work methods emerge.
Ability to take ownership of customer experience and to build rapport, understand customer requirements, resolve issues and deliver high-quality service.
Experience using multiple computer-based systems and ability to learn new systems with ease.
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to ensure consistency in applying awards, agreements, legislation and other related conditions of employment while processing transactions and resolving escalated enquiries
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 4A ($75,461.00) – 4E ($83,005.00) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
