Job Title: QA Tiles Sales Representative

Reports to: General Manager

QA Tiles is a leading provider of high-quality tiles for a variety of applications in the construction and home improvement industry. With a vast selection of tile options and a commitment to exceptional customer service, we are dedicated to helping both tradespeople and private homeowners transform their spaces with beautiful and durable tile solutions.

Job Description:

As a Tile Sales Representative at QA Tiles, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers in our showroom to find the perfect tiles for their projects. Whether it's a professional tradesperson seeking materials for a commercial project or a homeowner embarking on a DIY home improvement endeavor, you'll be there to provide expertise, guidance, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in the showroom, providing them with information about our tile products, including types, colours, textures, and installation methods.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our tile products, their features, benefits, and applications. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and new arrivals to provide expert advice to customers.
  3. Consultative Sales: Listen to customers' needs and preferences and offer tailored recommendations to help them make informed decisions. Provide pricing, quotes, and assist in the selection process.
  4. Sample and Display Maintenance: Keep the showroom displays organized, clean, and attractive. Ensure that samples are readily available and in excellent condition.
  5. Order Processing: Assist customers with order placement, ensuring accurate product selection, quantities, and delivery schedules. Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely fulfillment.
  6. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships by following up on orders, addressing any concerns, and providing excellent post-sale support.
  7. Technical Support: Offer guidance on installation methods, maintenance, and care of tiles. Collaborate with customers to resolve any issues or challenges they may encounter.
  8. Achieving Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the tile, flooring, or home improvement industry.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Excellent product knowledge and a willingness to learn about new tile products.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
  • Proficient with basic computer software and point-of-sale systems.
