About the role

This role is pivotal in coordinating signage projects from concept to delivery and commissioning supporting the expansion and maintenance requirements of our extensive network. You will liaise with project teams within the PTA and our contractors to coordinate the scoping, design and review of signage plans for PTA projects.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start, however part time arrangement may be considered for the suitable applicant.

About You!

As a Signage & Wayfinding Officer, your initiative, ability to foster strong partnerships and work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders is crucial. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our signage projects meet the highest standards of accessibility and functionality, enhancing the commuter experience across Western Australia. You will be responsible for conducting station signage maintenance audits and ensuring compliance with cost, time quality and safety requirements.

To be suitable for this role, you will have:

  • Considerable project and contract management skills and experience
  • Considerable experience in coordinating infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating signage projects.
  • Well developed written skills, including the ability to prepare responses to customer comments and ministerial responses as well as reports.
  • Well developed planning and organising skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and to cope with competing demands and priorities.

Initially this selection process will be used to fill the above vacancy, however it may also be used to appoint to similar positions that arise within the next 12 months, with possibility of extension and /or permanency.
