This is an exciting time to join NRW Civil & Mining. We areseeking applications from experienced SiteEngineers to join our high-profile Civil Projects on afull-time basis. The successful candidates will have an extensivebackground working with the Civil industry and assist withdelivering the project to a successful completion.
To be considered for this position as a SiteEngineeryou must possess the following as aminimum:
- Tertiary degree in Engineering or a similar relevant degree
- Previous working experience as a Site Engineer working within the Civil industry
- Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- MS Project/Primavera P6 software experience or equivalent
- Current Australian driver's licence
As a Site Engineeron our project, youwill be responsible for but not limited to:
- Scheduling preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project
- Auditing and traffic management performance
- Managing performance of subcontractors
- Reviewing all works are carried out as per project quality assurance requirements
- Ensuring accuracy of financial forecasts in relation to project schedules
- Reviewing NRW systems and practices to improve efficiency in administration
- Ensuring projects are completed according to approved plans
- Preparing, coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering tasks
- Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Liaising daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements
- Providing assistance to Project Engineers and site team with technical issues to gain approval for design changes
