About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, together you will ensure the project delivery is in line with the current DBP Act & relevant standards. Managing & coordinating all site activities for the successful delivery of the project. As an experienced part of senior management, you will be
leading the team to promote safety, quality, and a positive environment. The project is an iconic skyrise building located in the south of Sydney.
Duties:
Controlling day-to-day site operations. Supervising and coordinating staff, subcontractors, and suppliers according to the project plans & specifications.
Liaise and have respectable communication with subcontractors and others to meet the project program.
Managing short-term project programmes & chairing subcontractor meetings to drive the site.
Organizing labor, materials, and logistics onsite to ensure a clean, safe workplace and quality outcomes.
Experience in effectively controlling site WHS and Environmental compliance. Understand best building practices, Australian Standards, and Legislation. Knowledge in building and managing high-rise structures.
Planning and solving skills.
Computer literate e.g. Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Procore is an advantage.
Take initiative to ensure a positive environment & leading the team enthusiastically with a view of encouraging team growth.
Skills and Experience:
Civil Trade qualifications or equivalent
Extensive Civil Construction / Remediation experience
General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Various earthworks machinery competencies
Demolition license - desirable but not essential
Asbestos tickets - desirable but not essential
Driver’s license required
5- 7 years of management experience in Civil Construction and Earthworks
Experience working on multi-million $ projects
Strong communication skills
Effectively use MS Suite of programs including MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook,
