Building on the groups more than 20 years in the Melbourne Market, this young company is growing it's project portfolio and is looking for motivated construction professionals to help support the growth.
The Opportunity
As a result of a developing workload and upcoming opportunities UnisonCG is looking to expand its team with 2 new roles.
Reporting directly to the MD, these roles are key appointments to support the current growth being experienced. The ability to demonstrate skills and work in a supported and collaborative environment are opportunities to be acknowledged.
Duties:
- Responsible for all site OH&S matters
- Manage client expectations of site delivery
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Regular reporting from site
- Daily site records
- Run Site Co-ordination meetings
- Ability to formulate and distribute regular micro programs
- Liaise with architects, engineers, designers and contractors
- Manage site staff
The salary will be in line with the successful candidate’s level of experience.
About You
To be considered for the role you need to demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience working on and successfully managing/delivering multiple commercial building projects up to $5 Mill
- Quick thinker and effective problem solver able to deliver projects on-time and on-budget
- Skilled site lead who can instil a productive work ethic within the team and manage subcontractors
- Thorough knowledge of construction documentation, methodology and materials
- Strong leadership in the implementation, management and support of onsite safety
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible with work hours, incl. Saturday's
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a cohesive team
- Projects delivered to a high standard of client satisfaction and quality
- Trade qualification and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the construction industry
- Industry First Aid
- Current Cert III in OH&S preferable
