Ski Patrol Dispatch

Ski Patrol Dispatch is the single point of contact for those needing assistance within Perisher’s 4 resort area boundaries. Processing, recording, and communicating information relating to incidents, is crucial for effective responses from Perisher Ski Patrol. You will have excellent radio and phone communication skills and show the ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergency situations.

In a typical day in this role, you might:

  • Receive and identify incident information across the resort including names, location, and a brief description of events.
  • Input into Perisher’s Medic52 Database accurately and efficiently.
  • Effectively communicate with Perisher’s Mountain Operations departments and relay essential information as required.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain various reports such as daily response logs, data entry logs, transport logs and notifiable incidents.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Proven Administration skills
  • A demonstrated ability of computer skills, specifically: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel spread sheet skills
  • A high work ethic and dependability to scheduled work
  • Strong attention to detail

Employment start dates will vary depending on the role and snow conditions, but most roles start in June and finish in late September.
