About you

You are a fully qualified and experienced Skydive Instructor with at least 2 years' experience. You are a good communicator, have fantastic customer service skills and are proficient in the English language. You hold an Australian Parachute Federation (APF) Tandem Master, APF E Licence with Display B endorsement, APF Parachute Licence, APF Instructor D Licence (or in the process of obtaining) and are Sigma endorsed. You have a solid understanding of Skydiving emergency procedures & relevant Australian Parachute Federation policies and procedures.

About the role

We are seeking Skydiving Instructors due to our continued success and ongoing growth. Perform and oversee daily operations within the Drop Zone Coach students throughout the entire skydiving process Perform tandem skydives Ensure that all customer expectations are being met Monitor and maintain all equipment, pack parachutes. Develop procedures for areas of operations Liaise with management where required. Overseeing and ensuring optimal customer service for all customers and stakeholders

Your responsibilities will include:

Execute all skydiving activities as required by the APF rules, regulations, and publications and in line with gear manufacturer's manuals and procedures.
Work together with DZ staff to implement effective customer service for each skydive, including providing clear communication, meeting any individual requirements, and following relevant safety and company processes.
Maintain relevant knowledge, training and the physical location of DZ Emergency Response Plans
Proactively seek information and updates on all relevant APF documents, such as Operational Regulations, Regulatory Schedules, and others.
Regularly monitor and service all personal skydiving gear including helmet, altimeter, camera, and PFD etc' ensuring compliance.
Perform relevant Gear Inspections, including the 100-jump check as required by the Chief Instructor
Participate in promoting team culture, safety and OHS protocols and proactively communicate concerns or improvements regarding yourself, other team members, customers, or equipment.
Proactive participation at safety and Drop Zone staff meetings
Film tandem skydives to capture the amazing experience for each tandem skydive
Regularly communicate with the Safety Officer, Ground Control Assistant, Pilot and other staff to ensure positive safety outcomes with each skydive.
Responsible for other skydive related tasks, such as Parachute packing, GCA and other tasks as required from time to time at the DZ.
