About the position
Bond University is seeking to recruit educators with a strong interest in medical education and personal and social skill development to the role of Small Group Learning Facilitator.
The successful applicant will join a team of Small Group Learning Facilitators who support the Small Group Learning Program and Professionalism and Leadership Domain. Core responsibilities of this team include the facilitation of medical student small group-based exploration of scenarios, the development of personal and social skills, and the development of active enquiry-based learning skills. Typically, this involves; the facilitation of a group of 7-10 medical students, participation in a facilitator Community of Practice, participation in assessment of student personal and social skill development and other related tasks.
About the person
The successful applicant should hold a university level degree and ideally have knowledge of and experience in contemporary teaching and learning practice, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing high quality learning for Medical Students

The hourly rate for an SGL Facilitator will be consistent with the University Wide Rates for Academic Sessional staff and will be dependent on the activity being undertaken.
