An opportunity to shape & create content that will be seen by millions of people, every single week. As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for communicating foundr’s brand identity through platform-tailored strategies for growth, as well as crafting leading educational content. Reporting to the Brand and Content Manager, and as part of a global team, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing the production (from ideation to completion) of content that is served daily to our community of 5M+ ‘students’.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ideating, briefing & delivering leading-edge entrepreneurial content
  • Collaborating cross-department to ensure our public presence is brand aligned, purpose and value driven.
  • Implementing platform-specific, intention driven strategies for growth
  • Delivering a world-class global experience for our 5M+ audience members
  • Optimization for revenue generation on all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Linkedin & Twitter)
  • Reputation management & strategic development of brand awareness
  • Systems and process management for social media content
  • Deep understanding & analysis of our audiences
  • Management of a full-time Social Media Assistant
  • Be our eyes and ears for new trends and changes in the social landscape
  • Capture live and behind the scenes content ad-hoc
  • Responsible for copywriting across each platform, in line with brand tone of voice guidelines
  • Responsible for a sales target for ongoing organic campaigns

Requirements

Social Media Manager Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4+ Years Experience in Social Media Management, Brand Marketing or Similar
  • Track record of building brands and delivering on business objectives through digital/social planning and content development
  • Have a passion for all things social and are at the cutting edge of social media trends and best practices
  • Experience in creating value-driven, sophisticated content
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, static and video format
  • Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other team members when necessary

  • Skilled written communicator, with experience in writing short form & long form copy
  • Possess a deep passion for education & entrepreneurship
  • Understanding of basic design language & practices

  • Be proactive in understanding and reacting to platform & industry trends
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a keen understanding of the intersection between brand and product
  • Ability to create analytical reports & find a narrative through data

  • Collaborated with the editorial & video production team to ensure consistent promotion of the foundr podcast & magazine
  • Collaborated with the marketing leads to ensure our content calendar is aligned with upcoming campaigns
  • Researched and developed a list of hyper-relevant industry topics for us to pursue through our content
  • Presented key social data to the wider team during our quarterly production meeting
  • Worked with our design team to begin testing new instagram carousel templates
