Contract: 6 months
Location: Blacktown Council – Hybrid work model available
Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $60 p/h + Super
Responsibilities:
- To undertake key tasks as part of the Social Planning process in the Blacktown LGA including conducting research and community consultation, overseeing the implementation of the plan and reporting on the plan’s progress to Council, key community partners and the community
- Liaise with all levels of government to ensure integrated, timely, efficient planning and delivery of services and facilities for the communities of the Blacktown LGA, particularly in response to the outcomes of Council’s Social Plan
- Undertake social research, social impact assessment, social infrastructure planning, social policy review
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in social science, Social Planning or a related discipline
- Sound work experience in community development or a social/community planning role
- Current class C driver's licence.
