The role:
The position supports the development of a number of Council’s policies and plans to enhance community wellbeing and provide strategic support and input into social issues as well as coordinating and working in partnership in regards to affordable housing, gambling etc.
You will be researching, reviewing, preparing, disseminating and reporting on all relevant social, demographic and broader statistical data, including planning and implementing quantitative and qualitative research programs as required.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant other post-secondary qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in: strategic planning and policy development.
- Must have expertise in or an understanding of affordable housing and gambling.
- Highly developed knowledge of key government and non-government data sources (including, but not limited to Census Data).
- Demonstrated experience in social research and analysis.
