We’re looking for a Social Support Group Assistant who will assist in the development and implementation of recreational activities that promote enjoyment and encourage the active service model.
Some of the ways you’ll make a difference:
- Assist our social groups with activities and outings
- Assist our team members with developing activities and programs
- Ensure our clients are engaged with activities and enjoying the planned programs
To help you achieve this, ideally you’ll have:
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues and barriers faced by the client group (CHSP and HCP)
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to your role
- Ability to liaise across health and welfare services
- Demonstrated experience in implementation and review of recreational activities within a Social Support Program
- Evidence of flexibility in approach to service delivery
