What you'll be doing
The acute care team provides services to a wide range of clinical areas within Royal North Shore Hospital including ICU, Severe Burns Unit, Spinal Unit, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery.

Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), including the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the AASW Code of Ethics.
- Demonstrated understanding of the impact and management of trauma, sudden death, bereavement, domestic violence, child protection and Guardianship. Proven ability to provide assessment, case management and counselling skills and ability to make independent professional judgements.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-disciplinary teamwork.
- Demonstrated high- level oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to participation in professional development and quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
- Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
