This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
Packages may consist of relocation benefits, a fortnightly Rural Retention Allowance, contributions to professional development and utility reimbursements, in addition to accommodation assistance.

The role of a generalist Social Worker in a hospital setting is unique and provides an amazing opportunity to experience all facets of social work.
