One of Australia’s prominent Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced SOE Integration Engineer to assist with the design, development, build and support of ICT capabilities used within both fixed and deployed systems. The SOE Integration Engineer will conduct capability development, as well as design, build, maintenance and configuration control tasks. The successful SOE Integration Engineer will be offered an initial 12 month contract along with 2 x12 month extension options partnered with a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful SOE Integration Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Leveraging Automation & Orchestration toolsets in alignment with the branch's DEVOPS practices
- Providing support to Deployable Local Area Networks and static networks within the branch
- Designing, building, and managing various SOEs leveraging technologies
- Providing technical advice and guidance to developing capabilities
The successful SOE Integration Engineer will have experience in the following:
- Exposure or experience working with deployed networks
- Exposure with network integration at the tactical and operational levels within the ADF
- Experience applying security best practises in compliance with the Information Security Manual (ISM)
- The ability to integrate into a high functioning team and to manage their own time and priorities effectively
