About the Role
IGS Group is searching for a Software / Web Developer to work closely with the CTO in further evolving our BIM Content hosting platform (BIMcontent.com), internal process automation tools, and bespoke development projects for our customers. These engagements may include solutions for web-based visualisation, bespoke Revit® plug-ins, AR/VR, configurators, design automation, data management / analytics and more.
Assisting with both the strategic planning and technical execution of development projects, the ideal candidate will be an organised multitasker able to handle multiple projects at once, meet scheduled deadlines and bring a positive, creative approach to working as a member of a highly collaborative team.
Skills and Experience
- Proficient in C# (WPF) and potentially (but not mandatory) Three.js, Javascript, React and / or Angular.
- Knowledge of / experience with Github and Autodesk® Revit® API.
- Experience with common software development patterns and methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and incorporate timely software changes based on feedback.
- Ability to listen to, understand and document customer and stakeholder requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive approach to collaboration and working as part of a team.
Considered advantageous:
- Familiarity with full stack technologies.
- Computational thinking, designing and development.
- Experience with / understanding of parametric modelling.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) & Firebase.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with CTO to best manage roll-out and make improvements to IGS’ products, tools, and public platforms.
- Develop Revit® plugins using Revit® API for automation and interoperability.
- Designing, developing, testing, and debugging current and future web / mobile platforms.
- Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Create and maintain software/platform documentation.
- Research emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities where feasible.
