Talent International is searching for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our client, one of Queensland's leading health care providers. This role is based in Fortitude Valley on an initial 12-month contract. plus extensions.
About the role:
The solution architect will play a key role in simplifying and maturing our business systems, acting as a trusted partner to business stakeholders and providing technology thought leadership to support strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Support the the definition, design and implementation of the ICT program of work, to meet the requirements of the broader strategy
Work with Technology Portfolio team, Enterprise Architect, and senior stakeholders and business analysts to define requirements in support of the ICT delivery roadmap
Lead the development and delivery of solution architecture for our approved projects, ensuring they are pragmatic, fit for purpose and leverage approved architecture standards, and where possible adopt existing design patterns where available.
Provide Technical leadership for solution selection, including leading technical aspects of EOI/RFP activities and assessing fit for purpose solution, aligning business and technology, defining the 'why and how' that drives solution success, selecting the right product features that maximize business value, and advocating for implementation best practices that create frictionless customer and stakeholder experiences.
Partner with Data and Information Services Architect, and Cyber Manager to ensure solution design considers Data, Cyber and Privacy requirements and align with the Data strategy.
Provide technical oversight, quality assurance and guidance to external delivery partners, and internal teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements, expectations and align to the ICT Strategy
Help define internal capability requirements to support the transition of ICT Delivery projects to internal support functions
Provide guidance on the establishment of processes and patterns to ensure high quality designs throughout ICT delivery, such as CI/CD, Test Automation and a Quality Assurance framework
Work with ICT Leadership team and Project Managers to shape work plans, identify risk, consider cost implications and define sustainable solutions
Upload signed off solution designs to Enterprise Architecture (EA) tool (iServer365) to centrally store and share business system and data architecture.
Participate in Enterprise Architecture review process, attend relevant forums and provide input/present as a subject matter expert.
Requirements:Technical Skills:
Experience in the design and delivery of solutions leveraging platforms such as SAP FICO, EAM, APM, Microsoft Integration services, Mulesoft, Salesforce, ArcGIS, OsiSoft Pi, Azure data services
Solution Architecture and/or Enterprise Architecture concepts (TOGAF or equivalent)
iServer365 EA tool management (or similar) and use
Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
Experience and demonstrated success in designing and implementing integrated enterprise cloud solutions.
Experience in designing integrated solutions for Procurement, HR, Safety, Health and Environment, highly desirable
Knowledge/experience delivering solution designs that integrate with SAP S4Hana and MS Azure products
Knowledge/experience in delivering solutions with robust security/cyber posture and in accordance with best practice to protect the system landscape
Experience designing and implementing quality assurance frameworks.
Experience at designing and implementing CI/CD and Test Automation.
Experience:
7+ years in a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architecture role in large enterprise. Experience in the Utilities, Natural Resources, Engineering industries highly desirable.
A degree in IT, Business or related field.
Relevant architecture (e.g. TOGAF) and Azure qualifications.
Extensive experience and success in leading the design of enterprise solutions in a greenfield and brownfield environment with vendor-assisted delivery.
Flexibility and adaptability; able to work in ambiguous situations with resilience, tenacity, and a propensity to persevere.
Knowledge of information, data, analytics and its application in the business environment.
A team player and able to explain complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders so that they can have confidence in solution decisions.
