Job Description
This newly created role sits in a new PMO function which is responsible for delivering a number of large scale projects for the business. The role is responsible for acting as a conduit between the new PMO function, IT and subject matter experts across the business to analyse and determine how new solutions fit into existing business architecture, before developing architecture solutions to meet the needs of key projects and their stakeholders.
Additionally, as this is a new team you will get the opportunity to provide technical leadership by standardising business analysis and general solution design/architecture processes.
More specifically:
- Consult with key stakeholders to understand business and user requirements for projects by conducting business and stakeholder consultation workshops and presenting business analysis findings.
- Collaborate with the delivery lead to ensure that stakeholder requirements are met for project handover
- Perform research activities as required to understand system/platform functionality
- Deliver Solution Architectures/Designs for projects including creating related solution assets as required by the delivery lead or project team
- Provide high-level and low-level solution designs at key milestones during projects and assistance in solution design methods and standards to other technology business areas

You will be expected to meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience of analysing business requirements in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualise, analyse, and solve complex problems and quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
- Demonstrable experience of technical solution design across a range of technologies.
- Successful track record in delivery of integrated solutions, from vendor supplied products to legacy and bespoke applications and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong engagement skills to work well with a varied range of stakeholders
- First rate communication and presentation skills
- You put yourself in the customer's shoes when thinking about a problem and its solution and are always looking for ways to improve the customer experience
