Job description
Greenfields project to establish a new Customer Engagement Engine that intelligently suggests and personalizes the next best conversation to have with customers whether they are in a branch , a phone or a mobile device.
In this role the Solutions Architect will lead the technical direction-setting for the project. They will deliver an end-to-end technical outcome for the Project by orchestrating delivery across multiple services. They will identify service impacts and understand how new and existing services will be consumed to deliver an initiative. They work with service architects to shape and sequence initiative features on service backlogs.
In this role you will:
Develop an understood and agreed rationale, business alignment and priorities -technical context for the project need; what business/customer/colleague problems and/or opportunity it addresses and dependency with other enterprise initiatives from a technology standpoint
features-discrete, shaped features determined by capabilities, technologies, systems and components required to deliver the initiative aligned to target architectures and that contribute to service backlogs
feature sequence-defined and agreed sequence for feature delivery that maximises customer/business/colleague value and contributes to cross-service outcomes; aligned to business priority and service readiness
multi-service impacts-initiatives/features that are dependent on and span multiple services (both within and across domains) and associated architecture; the encompassing technology required to fulfil the end to end initiative requirements and delivery
technical debt assessment-identify and quantify options including technical debt impacts; facilitation and influence of related decisions; technical debt tracking
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience as a Solutions Architect that has worked on similar marketing projects and/or banking experience
Good communication/negotiation skills with Business and Technical Stakeholders.
Experience with Integration , Microservices, Cloud and Digital Channels
Experience with PEGA Customer Decision Hub (CDH) will be a plus
10+ years experience in the Technology industry.
5+ years experience in Software Development and Design.
Experience and demonstration of agile practices.
Experience with both packaged and custom build software as well as third party vendors and partners.
The ability to work collaboratively with business, project and technical teams providing technical leadership.
