Reporting to the Superintendent Asset Management - Rail and working in a collaborative community, within Rail Engineering & Asset Management, you will:
  • Work closely with our partners on medium to long term strategic improvement initiatives;
  • Lead site improvement projects to optimise asset reliability, availability and maintainability;
  • Coach maintenance leaders and team members to improve their asset management acumen;
  • Promote and drive standardised reports and best practice tools with your peer group;
  • Have the opportunity to step up to the Superintendent role.
About you

With a strong commitment toward safety of yourself and your team at the forefront of your mind, it would be beneficial if you hold the below :
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering which could include mechanical, civil, structural, naval, aerospace or relevant trade back ground;
  • Demonstrated experience in an operation, maintenance, engineering or reliability role within any heavy industry and a strong understanding of maintenance processes and systems;
  • Project management skills and experience, with knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Regulations, Acts and Codes of Practice;
  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience with computerised maintenance management systems;
  • Have a keen eye for detail and ability to take data and generate key insights into the maintenance performance and articulate pathways forward;
  • WA manual C class drivers licence.
