Specialist Maintenance Planner (Mobile Equipment)
Golding currently seeks a Specialist Maintenance Planner (Mobile Maintenance Equipment) to be based on site at Kogan Creek mine

Golding currently seeks a Specialist Maintenance Planner (Mobile Maintenance Equipment) to be based on site at Kogan Creek mine.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient delivery of the project maintenance planning, purchasing and warehousing requirements of Golding such that maintenance work can be performed efficiently.
This position would be a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual that has extensive planning experience in a contracting, site-based environment. Experience in leading a team will be highly regarded.
This role will operate on a 5/2 roster. A housing allowance will be provided.

Key role tasks include:
Lead the planning, purchasing and warehousing team to implement authorised Golding systems and the authorised maintenance schedules;
Work with your Manager and Maintenance Superintendent to develop and implement necessary maintenance plans, budgets and forecasts;
Take measures such that there is a consolidated component change out program developed that identifies tasks, duration, cost, resources and documents required for the successful execution of planned activities;
Provide your Manager the scope of planned work for major equipment overhauls supported with cost and duration estimates, documentation and the work packs required;
Produce maintenance history, data and information to analyse downtime events, equipment reliability to recommend adjustments to the Life Cycle Strategy;
Take measures such that all SAP related data is accurately maintained;
Identify divergence from contract scope and resolve interpretation issues;
Manage plant maintenance costs (including labour, subcontractors and suppliers) within your scope of responsibility such that they are maintained within the authorised budget;
Administer vendor contracts such that contractual obligations are met;
Develop plant and maintenance specific work instructions for appropriate authorisation;
Recommend improvements in planning, purchasing and warehousing systems of work to your Manager;
Ensure inventory control system is in place and reviewed for effectiveness regularly;
Monitor performance of Suppliers, inc outstanding orders, invoicing and cost reviews; and
Assist to develop, implement, and maintain systems including but not limited to Condition Monitoring
Key capability requirements:
Relevant trade essential, tertiary education will be highly regarded;
On-site experience in a similar Mobile Maintenance Planning role;
Highly skilled and experienced in the use of SAP;
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Project and other Microsoft Office suite of applications;
Knowledge and understanding of life cycle costing and budgeting principles;
Experience with maintenance of large hydraulic excavators, heavy mobile and ancillary equipment.
