About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Planning & Reporting, this Specialist Reporting role is responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information for the Group and Asset. Is this role you will apply appropriate judgement and estimates to safeguard the integrity of our financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Prepare and analyse:
- Executive Leadership Team deliverables of EBITDA, Free Cashflow, Capital and Unit Cost.
- Half-year and Year-end deliverables to the Group including Management Briefing Papers.
- 2 Year Plan/Budget and forecasts.
- Inventory reporting including for month end, 2 Year Plan/Budget, forecasts and other ad hoc analysis.
- Investor Relations deliverables including inputs to the Quarterly Operational Review and Half-Yearly Results Announcements
- Annual Report submissions.
- Proactively working with the operation to understand supply chain volume analysis
- Partner with stakeholders such as Investor Relations, Group Reporting, Marketing and Integrated Operations on improvement initiatives
- Confidently present ideas, results, and recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Ad hoc queries/analysis and sensitivities for key metrics supporting requests from Head of Finance, Vice President Finance and Group Reporting
- Ability to provide support to the Principal Reporting with Asset level projects, and other requests as required.
About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with strong preference for a post graduate qualification such as CA, CPA or MBA.
- Experience in consolidation of financial results for actuals, planning/budget and forecast cycles.
- Experienced user in BOBJ, SAP and Excel are preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines/priorities and identify and resolve problems promptly.
- Ability to work with technical subject matter experts and quickly grasp technical problems or complex issues.
- Ability to analyse and effectively communicate (written and oral) analytical outcomes to stakeholders and management.

This role is based in Adelaide on a 5/2 roster, offering a quality standard of living without the high costs of most other Australian capital cities. Adelaide offers a Mediterranean climate, beach-side lifestyle, cosmopolitan cafés and restaurants and world-class wine regions just an hour away. All this plus an annual international festivals and events calendar make Adelaide a vibrant, cultured, friendly environment to live, work and play in.
This role will also involve some site travel as required.
