The facility is sharing the vision of a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting children and families with developmental delays and disabilities across the Sunshine Coast. The Speech Pathologists available in the facility have personal experience and knowledge pertaining to the NDIS and is available to support families to navigate their NDIS journey. Also they are working across all areas of speech, language, literacy, fluency, and social communication with a special interest in speech sound disorders and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. The Speech Pathologists here are keen on developing the clinical skills they possess.
Qualifications & Experience
- Applicant must have a completed accredited degree in speech pathology such as a Bachelor of Speech Pathology or a completed Master of Speech Pathology.
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
- Continuing professional development
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behavior
- Valid registration from relevant bodies in the respective field is required
- Applicant must have a First Aid Certificate Working with Children Check, Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check and a current driver’s license
