A review of applications received for this casual pool will occur on a regularly basis. Interviews will be scheduled once a month with adequate notice given to those applications progressing to the Interview stage. Successful candidates will be recruited and onboarded as a casual, however, may also be provided the opportunity to take on temporary contracts across WSLHD. Please note that due to the high volume of applications received, response times may be longer than usual.

We are seeking driven, adaptable individuals to join our dynamic Allied Health casual pool in WSLHD!
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
To provide assistance and support to the delivery of an efficient and high-quality service to patients and clients of WSLHD. This will include working in allied health discipline specific services across the continuum of care to support business as usual clinical areas and also delivery of allied health services to the COVID-19 population.
Recruits to the casual pool will need to be willing to work across multiple sites/facilities within WSLHD to support service continuity in response to demand due to the need to surge and backfill allied health workforce. This will also include working across WSLHD community sites to assist with COVID-19 related activities depending on the workforce demands.
Applicants to the allied health casual pool may also be required to support a broader range of activities within their scope of practice to ensure WSLHD is able to effectively respond to the changing needs of the COVID-19 health emergency.
Successful applicants may also be provided with short-term 13-week contracts depending on workforce needs across WSLHD.

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Relevant qualification
Registration: Eligibility for membership of relevant professional body &/or full registration (if applicable with AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
Ability to provide high quality clinical services across a broad range of clinical areas
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Effective time management skills and the ability to be agile and adaptable to work across a variety of settings at short notice.
