Position SummarySpeech Pathologist - Paediatrics Community Health
- Temporary Full Time position | Part time role may be considered | Grade 1 or 2
- Community Health based in Outer East Region (Ringwood East and Yarra Valley)
- Opportunities for upskilling in paediatric feeding | $69,296.80 – $92,523.60 P.A. (paid pro rata)
- Be supported in a multi-disciplinary team with regular supervision

About the roleYou will provide clinical speech pathology services to pre-schoolers and their families at Community Health, Eastern Health, utilising both group and individual therapy models. You will work closely with other
Speech Pathologists, paediatric allied health professionals and allied health assistants to ensure effective training empowers parents/caregivers to become key partners in their child’s speech therapy. Supervision will be provided. There are opportunities to upskill in paediatric feeding if desired.
About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:- Recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia including demonstrated evidence of professional development activities equivalent to Certified Practising Speech Pathologist requirements
- Passion in working with families from vulnerable backgrounds
- Experience in assessment and delivery of therapy in both group and one to one models for clients with communication difficulties.
- Demonstrated capacity to utilise a parent capacity building model
- Strong organisational and time management skills, efficient work practices
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining and applying current clinical knowledge
