Great opportunity to join a successful Defence and Aerospace business in the Northern suburbs, this well-established company has strong stable history in Surface coating and manufacturing and has a perm position for a spray painter.
This is a new position that will involve spray painting only. All prepping and masking work will be done by other team members. Your job will be spray painting only. You will paint component for the defence and aerospace sector.
Reporting to the workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) Be responsible for Spray Painting, Mixing, and checking viscosities, Cleaning and Maintaining Paint Booth/ Equipment, and Quality Control. Painting only.
Pay rate is $46per hour perm rate for afternoon shift. Plus, super and overtime rates apply if wish to do OT. Approx. 90k per year base for afternoon shift. Start 2pm finish 10pm, unless you do overtime.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
Spray Painting Exp
High attention to detail
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
Physically fit to conduct manual handling
Must be Australian citizen
Must be able to pass AusGov Security clearance and medical check.
