The Rockfield team is composed of highly skilled professionals specializing in engineering design, infrastructure management, and emerging technologies. A major focus of the business is Brownfield Engineering, specifically aging assets & infrastructure (bridges, culverts, walls, etc.) and mining/heavy industry (machines, conveyors, wharves, mobile plants, etc.). However, they are now beginning to take on more Greenfield work due to growing market demand and their expanding in-house capabilities.
Your Role
Sr. Civil/Structural Engineer
Design knowledge of heavy industrial structures, mining/processing plants, bulk materials handling systems, and bridges.
Team leader capabilities.
Project management and client facing responsibilities.
Undertake public civil design projects, including level crossing bridges, tunnels, and alliance projects in the infrastructure sector.
RPEQ ideal, but not required.
Higher tier assessments using advanced modeling techniques.
Load rating calculations to ensure structural safety.
Advanced bridge analytics and probabilistic assessment for structural reliability.
Durability assessment and remnant life assessment.
Software knowledge: AutoCAD Space Gass, MS Office. It would be preferrable to have experience with Strand 7, ANSYS, RAM, Solidworks, and Inventor.
Location: We are open to hiring the right candidate to work out of our Brisbane or Townsville
