We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Technician to join our HBT operations based out of Karratha, WA. Reporting into the Senior Field Service Supervisor, the purpose of the role is to service customer sites with a focus on components of existing security systems (EBI, DVM, Access Control, Perimeter Detection, Duress, Hardware & Software) as well as electrical and general maintenance across site as required. To maximise customer satisfaction and minimise customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.
Housing and Utilities will be provided as part of your employment.
Key Responsibilities
Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (as per trade expertise)
Configuration of Security systems hardware and software
Diagnose faults and repairs on Security head end systems
Software load and configuration of EBI / DVM and other 3rd Party Systems
Small to Medium project installations including managing Subcontractors
Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed.
Ensuring delivery of value to Honeywell clients and customers
Carry out hazard and risk assessments (JSA) for all tasks as per company policy and procedures
Key Experience, Qualifications and Capabilities
National Police Clearance (Name and Fingerprint)
WA Security Licence and Security industry experience - Electronic systems, CCTV/Access control.
Experience with Honeywell Security Systems, control systems, 3rd Party systems, Fire and HVAC applications would be an advantage
Experience with ICT/Networking - IP address, ICT network architecture, firewalls, Windows OS, Cybersecurity CCTV, Biometrics, access control, fence detection is highly regarded.
