This role is for a keen professional from the physical security systems industry who has a passion for providing a high level of customer service and is also interested in solving simple and complex issues that arise day to day. They will ensure the availability, performance and fitness of the access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance and other technology systems that protect our physical infrastructure. They will program and monitor existing and new systems.
This role focuses on all infrastructure in the APAC region (excluding China), supporting all business operations across corporate, vehicle operations, and energy operation. As a member of the global engineering team, you will work with exceptional individuals both locally and across the globe.

- Proactively manage and monitor the Tesla APAC request queue to actively work in resolving reported security issues through Tesla Reporting Systems day to day.
- Ensure Reactive Service and Maintenance tasks are achieved to meet Tesla Standards, SLA’s and KPI’s by using an in-house system to ensure of accurate tracking, action, completion & reporting of all in-bound and outbound activity
- Triage, Test, and program any newley added or updated security devices to the APAC platform and to make sure sites are left fully operational.
- Allocate works orders to directly employed security partners using company ERP software.
- Track job progress against Tesla’s agreed SLA’s and KPI’s including maximum allowable response and rectification times and implementing escalation procedures
- Maintain and update as appropriate all processes
- Manage and allocate any small works tasks required (MACS) with Clients and Security operations
- Assist with invoicing process to ensure the correct costs are allocated to the correct job tasks and all works are invoiced in a correct and timely manner
- Maintain documentation and prepare reports for global security leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations, production, security, and other internal teams to identify, understand, and address their needs with technical security solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce cost with physical security technology.
- Any other duties required to ensure an effective and efficient service is delivered, in accordance with the company management systems and Quality Control procedures
- Experience in networked physical security systems engineering, programming, and administration for corporations with operations across regions and countries.
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems, video management systems, access control systems and other security system technologies.
- Technical security industry vendor certifications from Gallagher, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha, Honeywell or similar are desirable.
- Industry or adjacent certifications (PSP, CCDE/P, CCIE*/CCNP*, SSCP, PMP) are advantageous.
- Domestic or International travel required as needed
