The Role:
Reporting to the National Operations Manager - this full time role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Operations and growing business in NSW managing teams in both Regional and Metro locations – driving performance culture, maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring statutory compliance throughout the region.
We are Looking for Someone with:
- Proven experience in the recruitment and blue collar labour hire space;
- Demonstrated experience in business development and in identifying opportunities for growth
- A well-presented polished professional with the flexibility to communicate within a diverse range of settings from the factory floor to the board room in both regional and metro areas.
- Key strengths in the management of state-wide operations, fostering productive relationships with reporting team members across multiple locaitons.
- Capable of providing competent leadership in Operations to a multi-located team.
- The ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
- The ability to upload the values, culture, policies and procedures of the organization
- Ability to travel when required as part of role
- Knowledge of OH&S and risk assessment
- A reasonably sound understanding of Awards/EAs and ability to interpret of the same
- A good commercial sense around rates, costs and margins
- Ability to work as a strong team player with an attitude to learn
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative leadership to achieve results
Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of the Labour Hire industry
- Experience and contacts in blue collar industries
- High working knowledge in PowerPoint and MS Excel desirable
Professional Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- A hands-on leader with a ‘can-do’ attitude when faced with problems
- Customer focus for win-win outcomes
