Statewide Program Coordinator Pmhs

About the role

• It is the purpose of this role to provide strategic leadership, monitoring, evaluation, and to oversee ongoing development of Prison Mental health Service (PMHS) across Queensland. Ensure a consistent standardised approach to PMHS across Queensland in terms of model of service delivery, clinical practice, reporting, information management, data collection.
• Provide support to PMHS teams and their management across the state in meeting service delivery and staff development objectives.
• Apply well-developed clinical knowledge and skills to the management of PMHS, including advising on serious and complex clinical issues.

This position will be based in Metro North Hospital and Health Service District; however, the incumbent will be expected to travel to other health service districts across the state on a regular basis.
