- It is the purpose of this role to provide strategic leadership, monitoring, evaluation, and to oversee ongoing development of Prison Mental health Service (PMHS) across Queensland. Ensure a consistent standardised approach to PMHS across Queensland in terms of model of service delivery, clinical practice, reporting, information management, data collection.
- Provide support to PMHS teams and their management across the state in meeting service delivery and staff development objectives.
- Apply well-developed clinical knowledge and skills to the management of PMHS, including advising on serious and complex clinical issues.
