About Your Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team as a Stocktake Coordinator.
Thales will train and qualify you to work in each area of our logistics business including, storage, maintenance and distribution. This will be comprised of ‘on the job’ training as well as courses through our in-house registered training organisation
You will be primarily responsible for planning all stocktaking and spot-check programs within our Myambat facility (near Denman), counting stock, recording information on the Defence inventory database & producing reports, including delegating tasks to the stocktaking team and liaising with other Stocktake Coordinators within Thales Australia to ensure consistency of approach.
- Within the region under your responsibility, plan and execute all stock-take and spot-check programs within the established controls / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Operating the ADFs inventory management system
- Reporting of non-compliance
- Conducting research and investigations as required, interrogating stock history to complete investigations
- Building and maintaining a good working relationship with all staff members within the logistic services business
- Excellent attention to detail with very good numeric, oral and written communication skills
- A full driver’s licence
- Broad knowledge and experience in stocktaking and warehouse processes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
