Position Overview:
As a Retail Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, staff management, and inventory control. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and creating a positive shopping environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve store targets. Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions as needed.
- Customer Experience: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining store standards, addressing customer concerns, and implementing service improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage store team. Inspire and create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and high performance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and daily inbound stock of 8+ palettes, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate product displays. Implement loss prevention measures to minimise shrinkage.
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth store operations by managing daily activities, coordinating with different departments, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager, preferably in a large-format store.
- Strong leadership and team management skills of up to 40+
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to analyse sales data and develop effective strategies.
- Proficiency in inventory management and loss prevention techniques.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to train teams and implement effective performance management
