Grill King Outdoor BBQ Kitchens are a key Australian distributor of quality outdoor BBQ, Bar Fridge and Outdoor Living Furniture. We are looking for an Store Manager to assist with both the shop front and warehouse management of our private label products & operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has Sales and Operations Management experience and is looking at taking their career to the next level as part of the growing Grill King presence.
THE ROLE
This full-time & flexible role is based on the Gold Coast. Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Grill King Outdoor BBQ Kitchen Store & Warehouse including management of phone sales, walk-ins, customer interactions, order fulfilment and management of the shopfront/warehouse.
- Ensure all customers are provided with a high level of service, product knowledge, and after sales support
- Produce high standards of store presentation
- Maintain stock management/Inventory control
- Work a two-week rotating roster with weekend work
- Manage warehouse operations & logistics (includes pick & packing).
- Assist with invoicing, warranties, and all-round customer service.
- Help with e-commerce platform.
- Lead & collaborate with internal team to execute e-commerce campaigns and promotions.
- Identify marketing opportunities.
- Assist in managing social media channels.
- Acquire new customers and utilize CRM data.
- Meet marketing and sales financial objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers & suppliers.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our team. Ideally you will have experience within the SURF, Foil and/or SUP industry. The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Warehouse operations experience including fulfilment
- Ability to obtain forklift licence
- Take initiative and operate with a high degree of autonomy
- Experience in a similar role (operations, sales, marketing, e-commerce).
- E-commerce and/or marketing degree or other relevant tertiary qualification.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong CRM, sales and marketing administration skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, task focused and a proactive approach to use you own initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment to deadlines.
- Sales driven, customer focused.
- Well presented with great communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- A true team player – willing to pitch in outside the scope of their role when required.
- Must be legally able to work in Australia.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
