Job Description
Our client is one of Australia's largest fresh produce supply chain companies, providing domestic and overseas customers a single source of supply across a diverse range of fruit and vegetable categories.
We are now taking applications for a skilled and ticketed forklift operator to join our client in Silverwater NSW. Working across multiple teams, the role requires the smooth and safe operation of forklifts and following strict operational procedures to uphold a safety-conscious environment.
Your duties will include (but not be limited to) the following:
Transporting fruit bins and loading and unloading trucks.
Assist with packing and sorting
Committed to efficient work practices and working as a team.
Perform sorting and scanning of products that move through the facility Keep records and reports for tight inventory control
Maintains a clean and neat workplace
Any task that is directed by supervisor
Your role will also see you responsible for reading through order sheets to sort and pack fresh produce orders for clients. You'll be required to repetitively lift up to 15kg boxes along with cleaning and other labouring tasks as needed.
Your Experience and Skills
To be successful for this role, you will need the following:
Current Australian forklift licence
Available to work early mornings
Physically fit
Proven experience in safe and efficient operations of a forklift
Good level of English
