ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably skilled individual to join Council's Facilities Management team.
The position of Stores Officer is responsible for the provision of high level customer service to Council’s clients in general store functions, including the issuance of stock and ordering of goods in accordance with Council policies and procedures. The position will work closely with a small team to maintain Council’s store and its operation in an efficient and orderly manner.
To be successful you will bring

- Demonstrated experience in working in a stores or warehousing environment including use of computerised ordering systems and replenishment and issuance of store stock.
- Demonstrated experience in forklift operations.
- Proven effective communication and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Concern for neatness and accuracy of work, with a methodical and organised approach.

- An annual salary range of $53,200 to $61,100 (plus 10.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
