Offshore Services Australasia (OSA) is the leading supplier of helicopter services to the Australian Offshore industry. We operate multiple helicopter types from a number of bases throughout Australia and Timor Leste providing support to a number of the major oil and gas producers.
About the role
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player based in Darwin to join our Logistics team on a full-time basis, supporting our operations in Truscott. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, you will provide effective and compliant warehouse and distribution services. Two Weeks on, Two Weeks off or by mutual agreement Three weeks on, Three weeks off.
As part of this role you will:
- Adhere to corporate OSA Health, Safety and Environment & Quality Policy and all other company policies
- Catalogue and label storage details on items ensuring all goods received conform with regulatory and company policies
- Process and complete orders including selection and issue of parts
- Process the return of goods back to stock
- Binning/replenishing
- Assisting with stocktakes
- Updating Company maintenance system AMOS as required
- Maintaining housekeeping, cleanliness and safety standards to ensure the store area and Hanger is in a presentable condition
- Refuelling of Aircraft, including hot refuelling
- Assist with departures and arrivals, including towing of Helicopter, freight and baggage handling
- Maintain passenger safety equipment.
About you
Ideally, you will have the following skills, abilities, and experience:
- An ability to obtain and hold an ASIC car
- Possess 1-2 years current or previous warehousing experience
- Highly organised and detail oriented
- Demonstrable ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Good computer skills
- A Current Forklift license is required
- AMOS experience or similar is desirable
- Previous experience in Aviation high desirable
- Dangerous goods and WHIMIS training an advantage
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- A positive team oriented approach
- Flexible and Adaptable approach to meet business demands.
