About the Role
As a Strategy Business Analyst /Consultant you will contribute to the growth of Scalene by leading the successful delivery of client work and by helping to develop and implement internal strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities include:
- Convert data and analytics outputs into effective, clear communication documents appealing to a wide range of stakeholders
- Lead analytic pieces and support projects with a high level of autonomy, while ensuring a timely and high-quality delivery of objectives
- Build user-friendly tools and analytics products
- Outline approach, define the plan and structure analysis required to meet project objectives
- Engage client teams, ensuring trust and rapport is built to help create long term client relationships
- Help identify opportunities with potential to drive value both for our clients and Scalene going forward
- Propose, develop and lead streams of work to support Scalene’s internal product development agenda
Who we are looking for
Scalene is seeking a candidate with the following skills and experience to join our Melbourne team on a full time, permanent basis:
- 2 years of Strategic management consulting experience and
- Exceptional analytical and insight skills, comfortable in dealing with large datasets
- Client focused mindset is a must
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proven experience with reporting tools (e.g. Tableau/PowerBI) and data analytics in SQL andR/Python
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach applied to all activities
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
