My client a growing engineering consultancy whose niche is diagnostic/ Forensic Engineering, are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer with either an interest in diagnostic/ Forensic Engineering or experience in this space. They are a growing national consultancy with offices throughout the country.
On the back of producing high quality work, they have grown their client base year on year, and you will be a key part of the team in their Adelaide office.
The Role:
We are ideally looking for engineers from junior to senior level with at least 3 plus years local experience, critical thinking skills, with an interest in cause and effect and with solid report writing skills.
You work will include inspection of damaged of buildings,
Following up with recording of information in sketch and photographic form; taking of site measurements and recovery of other data (eg soil testing etc) and then preparation of detailed written technical reports on matters investigated. You will be responsible for producing high quality causation reports, structural reviews. You will also work on repair scope and plans. assisted by a Building Designer.
Candidate requirements:
- A construction related civil or Structural Engineering degree
- Previous Structural Engineering experience on residential projects, housing, apartments or commercial buildings beneficial.
- Solid report writing skills - Previous Report writing a big plus or an interest in this field.
- At least 3 + years' experience working in the Australian market in an engineering role,m with some exposure to forensic / diagnostic projects beneficial, but not essential.
- Experience in a similar role advantageous but not essential.
