One of my long-standing client are looking to add a Structural Engineer into their team. They have been going from strength to strength in the last 12 months, a reputable and big player in Warrnambool. They are a multi discipline consultancy providing civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and building services engineering solutions across all sectors. One of the few consultancies to grow throughout the pandemic.

Senior Structural Engineers – (7 + years Australian experience)
Intermediate Structural Engineers (5+ years Australian experience)
Structural Engineers (3+ years Australian experience)

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. including the ability to communicate well with management and clients
• Demonstrated experience in timber, masonry, steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Experience project experience in the Commercial, Residential and Civil Infrastructure sector with knowledge of Light Commercial and Light Industrial projects.
• Experience working with AutoCAD, SpaceGASS, RAPT and Structural Toolkit. Experience in small scale drainage work would be an advantage.

Role:

• Detailed structural design of building projects
• Working on a variety of projects you will be responsible for the full design from roof down to foundations as well as producing mark ups and detailing with computations.
• You will manage projects and be the direct point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring that design documents are meeting briefs accordingly.
