Structural Engineer/Senior Structural Engineer

• Western Australian owned and operated engineering services providing complete design, manufacture and installation service for bulk materials handling equipment and storage structures.
• Structural Engineer/Senior Structural Engineer - 5 -10 years plus experience required to focus on the design and analysis of silos and silo support structures, storage tanks across a strong portfolio of mining resource clients.
• Exciting opportunity as the company develops and builds their structural engineering capability to add to their successful mechanical engineering and design drafting teams.
• Software utilised: SpaceGass and FEA packages. Any particular software required to perform the role will be invested in by the company
• Working closely with in house design drafters, in house project managers, workshop crew, clients & suppliers
• Producing design reports
• Attend site for meetings and inspections/assessments when required
• Permanent staff position
• Free parking, Perth south eastern suburbs offices.

Key Criteria * Formal Civil/Structural Engineering qualifications that are recognised by Engineers Australia

• 5-10 years + experience as a Structural Engineer
• Structural Engineering design and analysis of mining and materials handling projects required
• Consultant background
• Able to communicate with clients and suppliers and work closely with internal design drafting teams and project managers
• Prior site experience an advantage
• Versatile and practical mindset
• Excellent team skills
• Excellent safety attitude
