Job description
ROUSSOS is working with a multi-award-winning builder that has been operating successfully in South Australia and Victoria for more than 20 years, currently holding an overall project value exceeding $1B. They currently have a diversified presence across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
This builder partners with one key client – a national property developer – that makes up a large component of their project pipeline. Having recently secured a project pipeline spanning 6-8 years, forecasting its turnover to double in the next 12 months, this business has grown within South Australia by fostering key relationships and consistently delivering quality projects.
The role
As Structural Foreman, your focus will be on the delivery of concrete pours, formwork, steel fixing, whilst managing structural trades to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure works are delivered in line with the plans and to programme
Manage the overall logistics and contractors of the site and supporting the project team to achieve a successful outcome
Monitor progress of works and ensuring daily productivity so the project is delivered on time, on budget and exceeding expectations
Regular reporting of progress, on-site issues and attend necessary site meetings
Demonstrate an outstanding track record to ensure high quality and code compliance
The ideal candidate
Previous experience contributing to Tier 2 projects form a structural subcontractor environment, or Foreman experience from a Head Contractor environment that focuses specifically on structural detailing will be looked upon favourably.
Additionally, you will also have;
Experience planning and coordinating multiple trades, as well as an ability to manager short term programme
Hold a relevant trade qualification
Leadership skills and the ability to create a positive team environment
Passion for delivering a high-quality service
Believe in the value of building strong, positive, trusting teams who work collaboratively
Strong communication skills that are simple, clear and articulate
