An exciting opportunity is available to join CQUniversity as the Student Enrichment Officer. Working closely with the Team Leader Student Enrichment Programs, this position will coordinate a range of programs and initiatives which aim to enrich the student experience at CQUniversity; transition support, peer-to-peer programs and student leadership opportunities.
This can include:
- Coordination of a range of programs to enrich the student experience at CQUniversity.
- Undertaking the collection, input and analysis of data to develop reports that communicate the reach and impact of the events and activities delivered to students
- Building and sustaining effective working relationships with an extensive network of internal and external contacts
This position is suited to a person with initiative and creative problem-solving skills, with subsequent relevant experience, with a broad knowledge in relevant administrative fields.
The successful candidate will ideally have program management skills with demonstrated experience in managing creative content in accordance with agreed standards, timeframes and budgets. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly adapt new concepts and information.
Position Requirements
- Support the provision of high-quality enrichment and experiential learning opportunities, ensuring that the programs align to the strategic objectives of the University.
- Assist with ongoing coordination, administration, and delivery of programs (e.g. Student Representative Council/Mentoring/Peer Assisted Program etc.) and other staff/student partnership programs in collaboration with relevant staff and Academic Leads.
- Support Enrichment Program team to provide general advice and support to students, as well as support opportunities for connections across the CQUniversity community.
- Assist in the delivery of relevant events (online and face-to-face) and draft a range of resources and materials which support enrichment activities.
- Work closely with the Team Leader Student Enrichment Programs, academic and professional staff to identify opportunities for new student enrichment programs and support strategies to expand the reach of enrichment programs across all facets of the University.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of engagement campaigns, social media presence, and other communication strategies. Development, preparation and production of a range of high-quality correspondence and documentation, whilst maintaining quality control and dissemination of same.
- Monitoring and responding to enquiries (including emails, phone and CRM) using information from relevant policies, principles and guidelines and advising clients at all levels, from all backgrounds and in various situations, including responding to difficult clients.
- You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you to hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
