About the Opportunity

This role is responsible for the coordination of PwC’s broadcast studios, providing operational management and producing best in class virtual events for our clients.

The role entails day to day coordination of the studios’ activity, engagement of tech professionals and external crew for virtual events, and technical production knowledge of the operation and maintenance of in-studio equipment. In addition, this role will provide production advisory support to stakeholders, working with marketing and communications leads to deliver on-brand and targeted content that engages audiences.

Based in PwC’s studio hub you will be responsible for supporting the planning and production of virtual events, as well as advising local teams on delivering via satellite studios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective coordination of all aspects of studio operations overseeing scheduling, technical equipment, budgeting and external resourcing
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to effectively partner with marketing, events and AV teams
  • Maintaining commercial partnerships with external contractors for crew and outsourced equipment, and overseeing pricing/estimating
  • Coordinating the operations and maintenance of the equipment and set up of all studios
  • Providing reporting on monthly metrics and use data insights to inform planning
  • Providing production expertise to ensure high-quality live and pre recorded digital content
  • Ensuring all proper technical, creative and legal requirements and guidelines are adhered to
  • Troubleshooting technology issues and overseeing risk management
  • Responsibility for production quality and driving improvements
About you
  • 3+ years of practical experience in a video or studio production role, and/or audio visual background including understanding of VMix operating system.
  • Proven experience in coordinating capabilities for go-to-market / client-facing projects
  • Proven experience producing events in a live streaming environment
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously, communicating and documenting clearly and regularly
  • Ability to execute and deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong editorial competence with the ability to give strong and clear feedback
  • Ability to work with teams across the business to advise on best in class delivery and build out rundowns, storyboards and other production assets
  • Comfortable interacting with and directing senior executives / C-suite
  • Experience with virtual events, video shooting, lighting, and audio
  • Ability to manage and direct event talent including crews, creative teams and on-air talent across multiple sites simultaneously
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting experience
  • Understand and execute end to end video solutions across a range of platforms
Some other technical knowledge & expertise:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google suite, Rowland Vmix or vision switching platforms, Adobe Premiere Pro or professional video editing software, video and audio equipment set up and use, teleprompter, PGi or other webcast platforms
  • Experience with webinars, virtual/ live events and tech platforms is a plus
